Those who are waiting for the title of Hyper Light Drifter on Nintendo Switch, may not have to wait forever.
Originally Hyper Light Drifter should have to get on the Wii U also, but due to technical problems, Heart Machine was forced to cancel the development. The players of Nintendo, however, in the future may be lucky enough to this title on Nintendo Switch.
These last two days have been rich in the announcement of independent games on Nintendo Switch. And when a game is not clearly announced, it is strongly suggested by its developer.
This is the case of Hyper Light Drifter, originally planned for Wii U and whose fate, as for many, will never have crossed the cursed console of the Japanese manufacturer. The studio behind the project logically privileging the Xbox One and the PS4 after encountering many technical difficulties is thinking to bring its title on the Big N machine.
In response to the question from a fan, Alex Preston, the creator of the game, has stated that the software company is planning to bring the title on the hybrid console of the Big N, and is currently investigating this possibility.
For those who do not know this title at all, it is a 16-bit action game that has raised more than $600,000 on Kickstarter, while the minimum amount requested was less than $30,000. With its unique universe and nervous gameplay, the title could convince nostalgic adventure games as the Zelda: A Link to the Past or Secret of Mana, which are two titles that have strongly inspired the development of the game.
We emphasize that, unfortunately, for now, nothing is certain, therefore, we just have to wait for any official announcements about it.
looking into it!
