How to enable and disable Boost Mode on PS4 Pro (Firmware 4.50)

A major novelty of the firmware 4.50 for PlayStation 4 is the addition of Boost mode, activated only on PS4 Pro. The Boost Mode allows to obtain advantages in the execution of outdated games for the new system, in some cases improving the framerate and load times. Let’s see how to enable it.
After installing the update 4.50 you can enable the Boost Mode on PlayStation 4 Pro by following these simple steps:
1. From the Home screen, go to the Settings menu.
2. Select the System type.
3. Scroll to the bottom to see the “Boost Mode”.
4. Press the X button on the DualShock 4 to enable this feature on your system.
After this is done, the Boost Mode will be properly activated without the need to adjust other settings. As mentioned above, the Boost Mode does not work with all games, below is a list of titles that are surely supported: Alien Isolation, Arcania, Bloodborne, Bioshock Infinite Remastered, Broforce, Call Of Duty Ghosts, Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare, Contrast, Costume Quest 2, Darksiders II, Dark Souls III, Daylight, Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2, Destiny, Dishonored Definitive Edition, DOOM, Dragon Age Inquisition, Driveclub, Dying Light, Everybodys Gone To The Rapture, The Evil Within, Fallout 4, Far Cry Primal, Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn, Assassin’s Creed Unity, Assetto Corsa, Attack on Titan, Batman: Arkham Knight, Battlefield 4, Rainbow Six Siege, Resident Evil 5, Rocket League, Sleeping Dogs, Star Wars Battlefront, Street Fighter V, Tomb Raider, Tropico 5, Until Dawn, The Witcher 3, Grand Theft Auto V, Grow Home, Just Cause 3, Killzone Shadow Fall, Lords Of The Fallen, Mad Max, Oddworld New And Tasty, Project Cars and Yakuza 0.
More instead contained are the list of titles that have problems (crashes, glitches, slowdowns and graphical bugs) among which we point out Tembo The Badass Elephant, SOMA, Slender The Arrival and Grow Home. The following games however do not enjoy any improvement after enabling Enhanced Mode: Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, The Telltale Batman Series, Dead Island, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, Dragon Quest Builders, God Eater Resurrection, Shadow Complex Remastered.
The list given above are based on preliminary test and may not be entirely accurate, if you have problems with Boost mode on, you should turn it off, to do this you just go back to the Settings menu, System and then remove the check to the item of Boost Mode.
