Horizon: Zero Dawn 2 Could Have Online Components, According To New Job Listing

According to reports, Guerrilla Games has launched a 10-year expansion plan which includes, among other things, the transfer to a large 5-story building in Amsterdam and the expansion of the workforce from 250 to 400 employees. Many speculations led to think that the title in question was just Horizon: Zero Dawn 2, but the software house has never given any confirmation yet.
Among the many job advertisements published (you can find them at this address, if interested) there is one that caught our attention, as it may have revealed clues to the next project of the Dutch company.
Specifically, the employee required should be a User Interface Programmer who will have to work on an “epic open-world game”. A description of this kind seems to fit perfectly with the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, although there is no certainty about it, there is more. Among other skills, experience with online networks and games is also required.
Does this mean that has Guerrilla Games decided to include an online component in Horizon: Zero Dawn 2 or in one of its upcoming games? How big and developed will these network features be? It is impossible to say with certainty at the moment since no official announcement has been made so far. The job announcement, however, is clear, and the possibility seems concrete.
What do you think about it? How would you welcome the possible inclusion of an online component in a game like Horizon: Zero Dawn 2? Tell us in the comments below.
