Apparently, within the PC version of The Evil Within 2, the latest title of Tango Gameworks, hides a fully functional first-person view.

We do not know why the developers have decided not only to design it but also to leave it within the game, albeit hidden. The fact is that you can play the whole adventure in the first-person view by sharing, in some respects, The Evil Within 2 with Resident Evil 7. Or, we can consider it another of the many Easter Eggs hidden in the game.

To enable it, just open the console and type “pl_FPS 1”. Players can aim, shoot, and interact with the setting. Although it’s not the way the game is meant to be, it’s really fun.

If you do not know how to enable the console, follow these simple steps:

1. Create a shortcut of the game on your desktop, right-click on it and go to property. Add the +com_allowconsole 1 parameter at the end of the address within the destination field;
2. Start the game from the shortcut;
3. Press the Insert button on the keyboard to open the console.

The Evil Within 2 is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
