As usual, Nintendo announced that new suits comes to Super Mario Maker, and this time players will receive the costumes of Hello Kitty and My Melody, this as part of a partnership with Sanrio.
In partnership with the Japanese developer, Sanrio, Nintendo will bring suits of Hello Kitty and My Melody to Super Mario Maker. According to Nintendo News, costumes of both iconic Japanese characters will be available through a new Event Course which will be released this Thursday, May 26.
Therefore, you should go to the section of Event Course of Super Mario Maker, once there, you will have to overcome the special level to unlock the costumes of Hello Kitty and My Melody; the event will be available on Thursday, May 26.
Previously, Nintendo held events for costumes of Ice Climbers, Toadette, Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle, among others. As if that was not enough, you can also take the amiibo of Wolf Link to unlock your outfit in Super Mario Maker.
Super Mario Maker debuted in September last year as a Wii U exclusive title, and according to Nintendo, the game has sold over 3.5 million copies worldwide.
