As it was planned, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment confirmed that Harley Quinn and Deadshot will be the new characters who will come to Injustice 2, bringing the game roster to continue to grow.
The output of Injustice 2 is still far, but now it seems that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Netherrealm Studios are taking full advantage of the presence of Gamescom 2016 even which is currently underway.
Fighting game Injustice 2 from the NetherRealm studio gets enriched by two new characters, recently popularized by the film Suicide Squad, namely Harley Quinn and Deadshot.
Because Harley Quinn had already appeared in Injustice, Deadshot is the only one that is really debuting in the series. Both villains were protagonists in the new film Suicide Squad.
Injustice 2, the sequel presented at the San Diego Comic-Con, will also feature the presence of Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle, who will join the already confirmed Batman, Superman, Supergirl, Aquaman, Atrocitus, Supergirl and Gorilla Grodd.
The following video from gamescom presents two villains in action. Harley uses a sizable hammer and calls for help from her loveable dogs. Floyd “Deadshot” Lawton has a knife, but – in line with the universe of DC Comics – prefers firearms, with lots and lots of guns.
This new release is scheduled to arrive in 2017, both on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
