Halo: The Master Chief Collection Preview Build Available for All Insiders
The registrations began from March of this year, although only a small number of players could participate in the tests conducted by 343 Industries during the following months. Now, the studio informed that each one of the registered users in the program will be able to participate as Insider to know the next version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
Those who with registration in force until Monday, July 30 must access the Xbox Insider application and download the client to run this version of Halo: MCC. Once installed, you will have the opportunity to test all campaigns, except Halo 3: ODST, as well as participate in custom games or matchmaking. 343 Industries points out that participants will be able to access all the available features with total freedom.
However, we must bear in mind that it is a construction version and there are some errors. 343 Industries reported that intelligent delivery, a feature that allows downloading campaigns and specific features, is failing, so participants must install the complete game, which requires just over 70 GB. Also, there are audio and lighting problems in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary and Halo 4. The good news is that these problems must be resolved when the full update reaches the public.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection debuted in 2014, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Halo 2. The collection was designed to have all the adventures of the Master Chief in a single console, so players can find Halo: CE Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3 and Halo 4, with the possibility of buying Halo 3: ODST as DLC. Unfortunately, the launch of the game was disastrous, and although 343 Industries tried to solve most problems, the truth is that the collection was far from perfect.
With the update that the studio is preparing, which should be ready before the end of this summer, Halo: MCC will have stable matchmaking, LAN system, a new user interface, changes in the rotation of maps during games and many more settings. To give us an idea, 343 Industries plans to update 8 different game engines, divided into campaigns and multiplayer, with the aim of making all possible corrections. To this, we add support for Xbox One X.
