In a post published on Halo Waypoint, 343 Industries has commented on the absence of Halo 6 at E3 2017, reiterating that the game will be shown at the right time. Unfortunately, this moment will not arrive either at Gamescom or PAX 2017, says the developer.
In a long post on Halo Waypoint, the official blog of the Halo series, 343 Industries, at the show to present the expansion of Halo Wars 2, has made the point on several topics. In particular, speaking of the Microsoft conference this year, it had understood the disappointment of many for failure of Halo 6 announcement, but also stated that it is still early to talk about it and that the game will not be present even at Gamescom and PAX 2017.
“I know I know, we should have told you ahead of time to not expect anything like that. Others were hoping for a tease of things farther off to come. While there’s little to nothing that can be said on that front, it’s been made clear that we won’t be talking about Halo’s next major title for quite some time. And no, that doesn’t mean Gamescom. Or PAX. Trust us, when we’re ready to begin pulling back that proverbial curtain, you’ll know. It won’t be soon,” says 343 Industries.
Recently Phil Spencer also stated that Xbox brand does not need to rely on Halo and Gears of War, moreover, we must wait for the right time to show the public the new chapters of Halo and Gears.
