343 industries revealed in the past Inside Xbox the news that everyone expected: the arrival of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC, which was accompanied by an adaptation of the acclaimed Halo: Reach. Before this, the players saw the possibility of the arrival of more titles of the franchise, as Halo 5 Guardians; unfortunately, the developers have no plans to bring it to PC.
During a question and answer session on Reddit (Ask Me Everything, AMA) between the community and the developers of the game, a user asked about the likelihood whether Halo 5 Guardians would reach the PC platform. The community director, whose nickname on the platform is ske7ch343, reported that at the moment the adaptation of that game is not among his plans: “focus is bringing MCC [The Master Chief Collection] and [Halo:] Reach to PC, there are no current plans to bring over Halo 5 [Guardians],” said the director.
It is important to mention that for now, it is not in the plans of 343 industries to make the adaptation of the game to PC, but we should not rule out a possible launch of the title in the future, because as they will bring Halo: Reach, it is likely that they do it with Halo 5 Guardians, even more, if we take into account that Halo Infinite is on the way and that the debut of the fifth installment on PC could serve well to invite them to the next installment of the series. All this is pure speculation, so it only remains to wait.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection was released in 2014 and includes the first 4 numbered installments of the series, as well as the Halo 3: ODST campaign.
