Just as planned, 343 Industries announced that the autumn update for Halo 5: Guardians will arrive in November, although this time it gave a precise date and time for the debut of this update.
The update called “Overtime” will arrive on Thursday, November 2 at 12 PM ET. Once everything is ready, the studio will activate the Waypoint home page and spread the word on its social channels.
At 1 PM PT, some elements will be removed to add new versions. This means the return of the Arclight weapon to its previous value in Warzone, new decorations, among other details. And finally, at 2 PM PT, the Halo 5 Local Server application will be ready in the Windows Store, which will be used to organize local games.
Once the update is completely ready, Halo 5: Guardians will support 4K for Xbox One X. In addition, Halo 5 will have the return of Oddball and Oddball FFA, which includes the classic skull, new lines of voice and medals. The skins and weapons will be also available from the teams participating in HCS and from the regions where the Halo World Championship 2018 will be presented.
The update could not be complete without the new game balance. Halo 5 will receive optimization in 14 weapons in all game modes, either campaign or multiplayer, although the details will be revealed at some time. In addition, there will be 7 new decorations for weapons and enemies: Brute Plasma Rifle, Sentinel Beam, Gravity Hammer, Reach Grenade Launcher, Wasp Destruction, Wasp Gunner and Grunt Mech Killer.
Last, but not least, Halo 5 will get a large number of changes and corrections in CTF, Assault, Warzone, Assault Warzone and Forge. The development team is also working on implementing rules for social items. You can know all the changes here.
In related information, 343 Industries will repair Halo: The Master Chief Collection completely for the launch of Xbox One X.
