Rumor: GTA 6, Bully 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2 Remastered Release Date Leaked
A leak on Reddit would have revealed plans of Rockstar with its upcoming releases, among which there is a mention of Bully 2, the estimated release date of Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) or the remastered version of Red Dead Redemption 2.
This source has got the information by a supposed friend who works at Rockstar. As always, you have to take the information with due precaution because it does not offer any evidence, but it should be pointed out here that his account has high karma – a measure of contribution in this network – and that to date he has not published a bulletin.
The definitive version of Red Dead Redemption 2:
After reaching the final version of Red Dead Redemption 2, already on sale, a relatively small group of employees would be working on the remastering of the game with the intention of having it ready by the end of 2020, coinciding with the launch of the next-gen consoles.
Rockstar would have cut some aspects of the game due to limitations with the hardware, so it is possible that it adds new features in addition to the predictable graphics improvements.
Bully 2 is in full production and is scheduled to release for the first half of 2020.
Although the date seems close, the graphics engine is already ready and the game world is slightly larger than the first Bully. This means that the development does not take as long as a GTA or Red Dead Redemption.
This month it was rumored that casting had begun for the actors and last year there were illustrations – in theory – of the project.
Grand Theft Auto VI:
The initial work of GTA 6 has begun, but right now the priority is Bully 2 and most of the resources are there. The plan would be to have it by the end of 2023, although the team sees 2024 as a more realistic date for its launch. That’s more than 10 years after the original release of Grand Theft Auto V. This year, information on the subject and protagonists was leaked.
