GreedFall, the latest RPG developed by Spiders, invites you to explore the magical island of Teer Fradee, in the new E3 Story Trailer. Enhancing the player’s freedom of action and choices, GreedFall will allow you to forge your destiny, starting in September 2019, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Today’s trailer introduces us to the epic story and setting of GreedFall, where colonists, mercenaries and treasure hunters will leave the old continent to converge on an island full of magical power – which is said to hide huge wealth and lost secrets. Desperate for a cure to save its continent of origin from a disastrous epidemic, you will find yourself in the midst of increasing tensions between invading colonists and local natives protected by supernatural Guardians, manifestations of the magic of the island.
It will be possible to progress and complete missions successfully by choosing from a multitude of different approaches. Whether you decide to use combat, diplomacy or deception, the way you reach your goal will only depend on your choices and how you decide to develop your character. The game island featured in GreedFall is a living and constantly evolving world. All your actions – from seemingly futile choices to the most important political decisions – will influence the course of this evolution and ultimately shape your story.
Greedfall is a western-style RPG, influenced by the works of Dragon Age, or the medieval setting of ships of some Assassin’s Creed. Since the last E3, where their managers left us with a more complete trailer, we had not heard from them again, until again, we come to this appointment, where the studio shows us a trailer focused on its story that culminates with the confirmation of its launch for this September.
