Rockstar: Grand Theft Auto 6 Announcement Coming Soon?

0 346

After the amazing success of Red Dead Redemption 2, released last October, slowly the attention of the fans of Rockstar Games are beginning to address the other top games of the software house: the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6.

On the new chapter of the famous franchise we know almost nothing, excluding very few absolutely unconfirmed rumors, but it is a title too loved by its community. This time there could actually be something concrete to cling to: Rockstar Games has published several job advertisements on its website. The announcements do not explicitly mention either GTA or Red Dead Redemption 2 (a DLC might be in process, for example), and the figures sought are those of Senior Graphics Programmer, Senior Gameplay Programmer, Facial Animation R & D Programmer and Senior Physics Programmer.

But what most leaves the door open to a new GTA is a description in particular: it is in fact looking for staff to “Develop new and enhance existing graphics technologies (rendering, lighting, shadows, shaders, culling, scene management and others) to help achieve state-of-the-art visuals.”

Obviously, this is speculation and not confirmed, but if we had to focus on something, it would be Grand Theft Auto 6 in the first place, followed by a new IP: in any case, something to be followed with great interest.

What do you think? Are the times ripe for the next Grand Theft Auto? When do you believe it can be announced? Tell us in the comments below.
