God of War PS4 Retail Copy Leaked, Future Game Will Be Also Set in Norse Mythology

According to reports, it seems that some retailers have already broken the day-one of God of War in North America, Australia, and the Middle East, so that the first pictures of the satisfied buyers have made their appearance on Reddit, and probably on other social networks.

It is certainly not the first time that retailers break the day one of the highly anticipated titles, as it seems that some users have come into possession of the game ten days before the launch date, set for April 20 at the same time worldwide.

In India at the moment there are no reports of early sale, however, we invite you to pay attention to any spoilers that could peep in the next few hours on Reddit, Facebook, and specialized forums.

In another news, Sony had declared that the God of War series would abandon Greece and its deities forever, to focus on Norse mythology. Talking to Finder, Sony has definitively confirmed that the next chapter in the God of War series will once again be set in the world of Norse mythology.

Naturally, this declaration does not imply that a new title in the series is already under development; simply, we should not expect a return to Greece, especially since Kratos has already exterminated the pantheon.

God of War will be available this April 20th exclusively on PS4.

What do you think? Do you think that Norse mythology, the land of Thor and Odin, is a sufficiently valid environment rich in material? Or, in the future, would you rather see Kratos grappling with other mythological icons? Tell us in the comments below.
