In the context of PlayStation Experience 2017, Cory Barlog, director of God of War for PlayStation 4 came on stage to talk a little about the new title of Kratos.

The creative revealed that God of War has already entered its final phase of development and confirmed that the title can now be played from start to finish.

In that sense, Barlog mentioned that the game experience will last between 25 to 35 hours because its essence is to take the player on an action-packed tour where they can enjoy the different locations between battles.

As for the combat system, Barlog announced that they are polishing some details of the interaction between Kratos and his son Atreus, especially at the section of the boy’s response to an attack order.

In addition, the creative assured that we can interact with the environment and use it to our advantage, whether for attack or defense; the same relationship with the characters that we find along the way.

In addition, a gameplay video was shown at the PlayStation Experience event. In it, we see Kratos fight with some enemies, and we have also been told that there will be a communication system with Kratos during the game. You can check the gameplay video at the end of this article.

The bad news is that, although the panelists insisted that Barlog reveal a release date for God of War, the creator made no mention, so we’ll have to keep waiting.
