The website of Daily Star UK has interviewed Cory Barlog, the Game Director of God of War, who confirmed that the game will have Photo Mode, although in all probability this feature will not be available at launch.
“It’s something that we’re definitely looking at. The photo mode has got to be something really cool. Like people have sort of raised the bar on photo mode. So, I’m not talking about it much right now because I think we need to do something really cool,” Cory Barlog said in the interview.
The director of the project then goes on to reveal that Photo Mode will not be ready for Day One of the game: “A lot of games kind of finish and they shortly after the release put a really cool photo mode out. So I think I’d like to follow suit in that respect and put something out. Something where I think ‘that’s great’. Like something that can stand toe-to-toe with some of the better photo modes out there.”
Recall that the game will be available exclusively from April 20 on PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro. What do you expect from the Photo Mode of God of War? Tell us in the comments below.
