As you know, the first anniversary of the premiere of God of War is coming and Santa Monica Studio already made it clear that it wants to celebrate it in a big way. That said, it is important to clarify that no part of this party involves any DLC for the game.
What we are referring to is that, shortly after the celebration of the anniversary was revealed, Cory Barlog, director of God of War, commented on Twitter that “that’s not all”. As you can imagine, there was no shortage of those who thought that this was a nod to the fact that the revelation of more content for God of War was imminent. Unfortunately, the reality is that there are no plans for something similar to exist.
“Just so no one gets the wrong idea – there is no DLC coming for the game. Sorry,” said the creative on Twitter.
Now, this news should not surprise those who have been closely following the development of the game. We say this because Cory Barlog had already declared that he is not working on downloadable content for God of War, since doing it would take a long time. So, it seems that his sights are already on the next game of the studio.
God of War released on April 20, 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. And to you, what do you think of all this? Did you expect the game to receive DLC at some point? Tell us in the comments below.
