Almost a month after its launch, Xbox One X represents a new space to expand the development of the studios and thanks to the technical capabilities of the console it can integrate elements that, due to hardware limitations, were not viable at the time. As part of the series of “Inside Xbox One X Enhanced,” Vincent Delassus spoke about the work to bring improvements to Ghost Recon Wildlands on the most powerful console in the world, Xbox One X.

In a new installment of the Xbox series dedicated to collecting the experience of developers in their work with Xbox One X, Vincent Delassus, art director of Ghost Recon Wildlands referred to the improvements that players will experience when they can try the title on the new Microsoft console.

Initially, the creative highlighted the optimization of the game for Xbox One X, which translates into an increase in the field of vision and an impressive graphics work that faithfully represents the real territory.

In that sense, Delassus mentioned: “The game will feature improved draw distances, better terrain representation through improved tessellation, as well as a beautiful higher resolution and full HDR support. Players will feel like Bolivia has never been more realistic. The improved terrain tessellation provides new levels of immersion, while the improved draw distance will allow players to admire even better vistas in the massive open world of the game.”

On the other hand, Delassus assured that working with the hardware of Xbox One X was a great experience and the development team of Ghost Recon Wildlands was motivated by the possibility of capturing in the graphic elements of the title that could not be integrated at the beginning.
