Ghost Recon Breakpoint Game Map Size Will Be “As Big As Wildlands”

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint could follow in the footsteps of Wildlands but, for many reasons, decides to take new routes for the franchise. From a “loot-based” gameplay to end-game raids, there are many features that, until recently, you wouldn’t have expected to see in a “Ghost Recon” series title.

An element that seems to remain unchanged is the possibility of freely exploring the game map, but how big will that be of Ghost Recon Breakpoint? During an interview with DualShockers, the game director, Erik Couzian, gave the answer. He didn’t go into details, but he mentioned that players can expect a game map “as big as Wildlands”.

In terms of duration of the game, there are many contents that can be found in the game. Also this time Couzian refused to go into details, but he promised “hours and hours of gameplay” in Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

Recently, Ubisoft has announced that the sequel open-world tactical shooter Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be released exclusively on Epic Games Store. The game will be the third exclusive title on this platform – recently released The Division 2 and Anno 1800. The new feature will be available as part of its Uplay distribution service.

It is not clear at this point whether the title will eventually be available on Steam or other well-known distribution platforms. However, since the two previous games of Ubisoft are not time-limited but permanent exclusive, this seems not very likely.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will release on October 4th, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (which, we remember, will be exclusive to Epic Games Store and Uplay). We also remind you that in order to play the title you must necessarily be connected to the Internet.
