Gears of War 4 will have crossplay between Xbox One and PC

Microsoft wants to count Gears of War 4 with crossplay between Xbox One and PC, and next weekend it will let players to try out this feature for the first time. The company announced that between 2 and 5 December, the Xbox One will have the option to compete online against PC and vice versa.
Several aspects of the Xbox Play Anywhere platform is in force, where one of the most popular is the Crossplay or crossover game. Now the studio, The Coalition, have announced that this weekend they will be held the first test to implement the crossplay between Windows 10 and Xbox One for Gears of War 4.
Originally, the developers wanted to keep two separate versions of the game, but now they are committed to fulfill the promises of the Xbox Anywhere program. However, this does not mean that the arrival of crossplay to Gears of War 4 is completely assured.
“The crossplay is divisive in any Versus experience,” said The Coalition in a recent publication. “From the beginning, we stated our intention to keep both platforms separate in non-cooperative game modes in order to preserve competitive balance. Conserving a fair, competitive environment remains a top priority for us.”
In other words, this suggests that the studio may cancel this initiative if the results are not positive. In any case, those interested in participating in the test, only have to select the playlist of crossplay in multiplayer.
