Gears of War 4 has gone Gold ahead of October launch

Yesterday, Microsoft announced that Gears of War 4 is already in Gold stage, which means that the title will begin to be mass produced so that it is ready for launch, on 11 October.
Microsoft has announced that Gears of War 4, the new installment of the acclaimed series of Gears of War, officially has gone Gold.
To celebrate this milestone, Microsoft held an event at Microsoft Canada Excellence Centre, in Vancouver, Canada. On site, were present Xbox boss Phil Spencer; The Coalition leader, Rod Fergusson; and Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella.
“This has been a real homecoming for me,” said Fergusson. “Coming back to Xbox to lead a studio of talented people from around the world, all focused on Gears of War, and doing so in my home country of Canada in one of the best cities in the world for technology and entertainment has been a dream come true.”
“Ten years ago, Gears of War was the killer app that brought millions into the Xbox family,” Spencer said. “It’s combination of innovative technology, unique gameplay, and trademark storytelling changed the game forever.”
Remember that Gears of War 4 will debut on October 11 for Xbox One and PC. The title will feature Xbox Play Anywhere, so if you buy the digital version of the game for Xbox One then you can get a copy for Windows 10 as well, or vice-versa.
