GameStop: Nintendo Switch new stocks exhausting in hours rather than days

The new hybrid console of the Kyoto giant seems destined for greatness. The request for Nintendo Switch is very high. This is what emerged from a recent interview with the senior director of GameStop.

Since its debut, GameStop has only spoke in positive terms about Nintendo Switch , at least from a commercial point of view. In fact all this with good reason, given the recent Nintendo’s financial results.

Eric Bright of GameStop USA said he was extremely pleased with the sales performance of Nintendo Switch. The new console is in great demand at the chain stores and new stocks are depleted usually within a few hours.

“It’s exceeding our expectations. We knew it would be a high-demand product, but our Switch allocations are selling out not in days, but in hours…the demand is so high that consumers have to react quickly to be able to get their hands on them.”

Since the launch, Nintendo has distributed 2,740,000 Switch around the world, undoubtedly a positive start for the new console of house of Kyoto.

Meanwhile, the Big “N” has confirmed that is working on a series of Switch titles not yet announced to the public.
