Gamescom Opening Night Live Includes More Than 15 Game Publishers

Today Gamescom, the world’s largest event for video games and computer games, and producer Geoff Keighley (The Game Awards) have announced the first details of Gamescom Opening Night Live, a spectacular live showcase of world premiere presentations and announcements of new titles.

The new show, which will be attended by over 1,500 fans in the Koelnmesse exhibition area, Gamescom’s organizer in Cologne, Germany, will be broadcasted live worldwide on all the main English streaming gaming platforms, with local translations available in more than 8 languages.

Among the publishers that during the Opening Night Live will present world-class games and exciting new features, there are among 15 game publishers to be present in the event, as listed below:

  • Activision
  • Bandai Namco Entertainment
  • Bungie
  • Capcom
  • Electronic Arts
  • Epic Games
  • Google Stadia
  • Koch Media / Deep Silver
  • Private Division
  • Saw
  • Square Enix
  • Sony Interactive Entertainment
  • THQ Nordic
  • Ubisoft
  • Xbox Game Studios

Even some independent video game studios will announce their most recent innovations. Further details on specific video games and video game content will be revealed in the coming days and until Monday, 19 August.
