The players of Forza Horizon 3 could not benefit from any improvement to date on Xbox One X, the powerful mid-gen console that Microsoft has launched on 7th November. But things are about to change, as we learn from a message posted on Twitter by Aaron Greenberg.
As you can read from the post that we have reported at the bottom of this news, Forza Horizon 3 will receive a new patch on January 15, thanks to which support for Xbox One X will be enabled.
Apparently, the open world racing title of Playground Games will be able to run in native 4K resolution and will also benefit from other unspecified technical improvements. We, therefore, look forward to receiving more specific details in this regard.
Forza Horizon 3 is now available on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. About Playground Games, we remind you that the much-appreciated software house is currently working on an ambitious, but still unknown, open-world project.
As you might remember, Sean Eyestone, the former senior producer at DICE will be joining Forza Horizon 3 software house. In the past, Eyestone has worked for Kojima Productions on several titles of Metal Gear Solid, including Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes.
The former DICE producer adds up to a respectable team that also includes former Rockstar North’s Will Kennedy – Grand Theft Auto V -, and Juan Fernandez Simon, who worked on Hellblade of Ninja Theory.
Playground Games is also in the process of expanding with the creation of a new studio that will be placed in a building of about 1600 m², where more than 200 employees will work on the new action RPG.
