Square-Enix has announced that King’s Knight: Wrath of the Dark Dragon (mobile game set in the universe of Final Fantasy XV) will not come out in 2016 as originally planned, the launch was in fact delayed to next year.

Square Enix today announced a delay in the output of King’S Knight: Wrath of the Dark Dragon, originally scheduled for this year 2016. Since missing a few days of the end of this year, it is clear that the arrival of this title for iOS and Android is delayed to 2017.

The publisher apologized for the delay and promised that the new launch date will be announced shortly. King’s Knight: Wrath of the Dark Dragon is a remake of King’s Knight, title released in 1986 and ready to get back on iOS and Android in a new makeover.

Recently, Square-Enix has announced that the mobile version of Justice Monsters V (minigame of Final Fantasy XV) will close its doors on March 27. Published on August 30 on the App Store and Google Play, the app is not as successful as hoped.

As of February 27, 2017 it will no longer be possible to purchase the Golden Orbs to spend in-game, the publisher also announced a repayment plan for in-app purchases that are not used, but more details will be disclosed at a later date. Square-Enix had planned to also launch a PC version of Justice Monsters V but this has never seen the light, and at the time appears to have been officially canceled.
