Final Fantasy XV confirmed to support HDR on Xbox One S

According to recent information, Final Fantasy XV itself will support HDR on Xbox One S, the newest version of Microsoft system, when the game will be available for sale in November.

Final Fantasy XV will support High Dynamic Range technology (HDR) on Xbox One S. Phil Spencer, the top boss of Xbox, confirmed this news on his official Twiiter account. Final Fantasy XV had already confirmed earlier this feature since September for the next edition of the Sony console, PlayStation 4 Pro.

The HDR is only supported on the new Xbox One S console, while for Sony, the company has made available for the olde PlayStation 4 and Slim, although it was a characteristic peak of PS4 Pro.

Final Fantasy XV was originally expected in September 2016. But the title of Square Enix got delayed and it will now debut on November 29, 2016, for the PS4. Final Fantasy XV also provides support to the greater power of calculation of PS4 Pro and experience created specifically for virtual reality.

Other games that also have the possibility to use HDR on Xbox One S are Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4, both of Microsoft; Final Fantasy XV will not be the only third-party, as NBA 2K17 will also support HDR.

Xbox One S is now available for sale in some regions of the world, with a price of $300 USD. PlayStation 4 Pro, meanwhile, will arrive in November.
