Peter Moore, one of the heads of EA and the visible faces of the company, has again emphasized that FIFA 18 for Nintendo Switch will be a version programmed and designed half of the console version.
Since the official launch of Nintendo Switch broadcasted last month, we already know that FIFA will come on the new Kyoto society in some form on the console. Electronic Arts has confirmed that the FIFA game that will be present on the Nintendo Switch will be eventually FIFA 18, the next game in the acclaimed football series, which will be in stores sometime between September and October 2017.
In declarations collected by the media Gamereactor, Moore stressed that “Well, as we have said, we are custom-building a FIFA version for the Nintendo Switch. It will be FIFA 18, and it will obviously be later this year when FIFA 18 comes out,” and reaffirmed – in line with previous comments from EA – that FIFA 18 for Switch will be ” a custom built version for the Nintendo Switch from the FIFA development team in Vancouver.”
However it was not specified which exclusive features will be implemented and how much the possible downgrade of the graphic will weigh than the PC versions, PS4 and Xbox One.
This new hybrid console of Nintendo will be released on March 3 and will offer a platform that can be used both in the portable and dock mode. A few days ago more than 100 titles were confirmed in development for Nintendo Switch.
