Electronic Arts has revealed the first details on the characteristics of FIFA 18 on the Nintendo console. The game offers an authentic and complete football experience, allowing fans to play the title anytime and anywhere.
This new edition has all the modes that fans know and love, including FIFA Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Switch Kick Off, and Local Seasons, making it the most portable game ever introduced by EA Sports FIFA. Players can participate in live campaigns linked to the performance of the football season, the transfer market and other Ultimate Team features that will be revealed very soon.
“FIFA 18 on Nintendo Switch is the best FIFA you can take with you anywhere, play anytime and with anyone,” said Producer Andrei Lăzărescu. “We’re delivering the immersive and authentic experience that fans expect from FIFA, while leveraging innovative ways to play both at home and on the go with Nintendo Switch.”
The game takes advantage of the unique portability of the console, allowing players to play in docked mode, tabletop mode and handheld mode and use the local multiplayer access to local Seasons. There will also be multiple control schemes, therefore, you can play in portable mode, with two Joy-Con, with a single Joy-Con or the Pro Controller, there is an option that fits your style of gameplay.
The game offers the most technologically advanced portable experience of FIFA ever, with a resolution of 1080p in docked mode and 720p in portable mode.
FIFA 18 is developed by EA Vancouver and EA Romania and will be available worldwide from September 29 for Nintendo Switch.
