Ubisoft announced the contents of the Far Cry 5 Season Pass, available as part of the Gold Edition or as an additional purchase on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
After the launch of Far Cry 5, scheduled for March 27th, the Season Pass will offer a series of experiences in perfect Far Cry style that will lead players to experience some extraordinary adventures in three unique scenarios.
1. Hours of darkness, in which players travel back in time to the Vietnam War to fight against Vietnamese community soldiers.
2. Dead Living Zombies, who will see players engaged in hordes of zombies in a series of scenarios in perfect B-movie style.
3. Lost on Mars, where players leave Earth to face some Martian arachnids.
In addition, all holders of Far Cry 5 Season Pass who will play on consoles will receive the Far Cry 3 Classic Edition, which will be available to Season Pass buyers four weeks before its launch and as an independent title in the summer of 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Far Cry 3 Classic Edition will allow fans of the saga and new players to revisit the island of Rook and meet one of the most notorious villain of Far Cry, Vaas, played by Michael Mando. As Jason Brody, players will have to explore a fantastic tropical island to find and rescue his friends, who are held captive. PC players who purchase Season Pass or Far Cry 5 Gold Edition will receive the full version of Far Cry 3.
More details on post-launch support for Far Cry 5, including an overview of the three adventures and the return of the map editor, will be shared over the next few months.
