While we await for the next update 1.4 of Fallout 4 and the output of extensions, we learn that the famous Mod Kit will arrive very soon. This official tool will be released by Bethesda Softworks to create our own mods on PC and gaming consoles.

Speaking through the website GameInformer, Todd Howard – Game Director for Fallout 4 – said that the Mod Kit will arrive in April on PC, between the output of the DLC Automatron and Wasteland Workshop.

“Our goal is between the first two DLCs. It’ll go up at that time on PC. In April. All of that stuff will go up on PC. People are beta testing it. There’ll be a lag on consoles. We want to get it up on PC and have it work. It’ll probably be a good month before it hits Xbox One, and another month for PlayStation 4.”

The launch will take place primarily on the PC platform, before arriving a month later on Xbox One and again a month later on PS4.

Hopefully more information about the possibilities of this tool will soon be provided by the publisher.
