Yesterday, Bethesda has published the update 1.8 for Fallout 4 that introduces support for mods on PlayStation 4 whereas for compatibility with PS4 Pro it will have to wait yet again.
Bethesda has announced that Fallout 4 support for PS4 Pro will be available in the next patch for the PlayStation 4. “PS4 Players can expect PS4 Pro support in our next title update for Fallout 4,” can be read from the official Twitter account of Bethesda Game Studios.
So it is good news for owners of the new console that will finally be able to enjoy the game in an increased resolution, but not in native 4K by cons.
In a message posted on Twitter, the publisher wanted to make it clear that support for PS4 Pro will come with the next game update, still without a release date. Bethesda said that Fallout 4 will run in 4K (non-native) and will enjoy a best lighting system and graphical enhancements unspecified.
In all likelihood, the next patch will arrive in December, however, we look forward to further communications from Bethesda.
