The first Fallout 4 update brings some stability to the title. Digital Foundry conducted a trial on the PS4 version of the game and concluded that the fluidity is further influenced, with a more stable framerate than in the past.
Since this week, Fallout 4 takes advantage of its first patch, solving a series of bugs while improving performance mentioned on the website of Bethesda Softworks. And that does not refuse, since the title does not has an exemplary stability.
In order to diagnose the effectiveness of the update, Digital Foundry has released a comparative video, which shows the number of frames per second on PS4, in the same game area, with and without the patch. The finding, seen below, is quite evident in the area of the Corvega factory.
So it comes to regular falls at around 20 frames per second in the past, the update keeps you more regularly at 30 FPS, even the explosions and complex visual effects that tend to bring down the framerate despite everything else. Watch the comparison video below:
