Enchanted Portals Is A Cuphead-Style Game Coming To Switch and PC

The success of Cuphead has been tremendous, as the StudioMDHR game has already sold more than 5 million copies. Players and developers were delighted with the proposal of the title and its attractive visual section. This led the members of Xixo Games Studio to create Enchanted Portals.

This is a title strongly inspired by Cuphead that is in charge of said Spanish studio. Enchanted Portals stars Bob and Penny, magicians who were sent to another dimension. They will have to overcome various levels and kill strange bosses to return home.

As you can see below, its mechanics, confrontations against bosses and even its music are quite similar to those of Cuphead. “Enchanted Portals has a visual style very similar to that of classic animated cartoons of the 1930s and popularized by Cuphead, with fluid, expressive frame-by-frame animation and a thrilling dynamic soundtrack that morphs and adapts to the action on screen,” the studio detailed.

Below I leave you with its first trailer:

To make its project a reality, Xixo Games Studio will start a campaign on Kickstarter. With this, they seek to obtain funds and develop Enchanted Portals. The campaign will begin on October 24, but for now, there are no details about its goal or its rewards.

The trailer of the game was not very well received by the community, as the players consider that the similarities with Cuphead are too many. However, we will have to wait to know if Xixo Games Studio can complete its development.
