Elite: Dangerous will release on PlayStation 4 in 2017
After its launch on Xbox One and PC, the space game Elite: Dangerous is preparing itself to release on PlayStation 4 and it will also support PlayStation 4 Pro, as was announced by the studio Frontier Developments.
Elite Dangerous will be released on PlayStation 4 in the second quarter of 2017, as announced by Frontier. The game is already available on PC and Xbox One.
According to the information shared by the developer, the title will be coming to the Sony console sometime between April and June 2017. The studio also used the announcement to publish a new trailer for Elite: Dangerous.
One of the specific features for PlayStation 4 is the functionality that we will play with the touchpad and likely the support of DualShock 4 controller. Additionally, this version of the game lets you designate 4 points of touchpads as shortcuts.
Frontier also announced that holders of PlayStation 4 Pro will have access to an improved game performance. In addition to the base game, Elite Dangerous will also come with all the expansions released to date, although it is not specified whether it will be including the price or paid downloads.
