The Piranha Bytes studio finally puts aside the Risen saga to launch a new license on PC and gaming consoles with no release date yet: Elex. Both Nordic Games and Piranha Bytes (the makers of the Gothic – and Risen series) are working on the open-world role-playing game Elex which will appear in 2017 for the PC, Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. Shortly before the E3 2016, now the official site was launched with new information and pictures.

Thanks to them we can have a look at many of the screenshots taken directly from its gameplay, allowing us to get a first idea of what their graphics and art section would be, as well as some of the possibilities that we will have in time to move for their scenarios, such as using punches or jetpacks.

The game will feature an open world system that you can explore freely. Its story is set in a post-apocalyptic science fiction world in which futuristic technologies and magic coexist.

Its mapping will be divided into five regions that can be explored from the first minute of gameplay and combat system will allow us to use from swords, bows, and axes, to shotguns, flamethrowers, and plasma rifles.

Its launch will take place in coming winter on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Now we leave you with the screenshots of the game in question so you can see them for yourself.
