Daniel Lingen, Community Manager of Electronic Arts, has posted a message on Twitter that has rekindled the hopes of fans of Skate: the American company is about to officially announce Skate 4?
Yesterday Daniel Lingen, community manager of Electronic Arts, posted on his official Twitter account a hashtag with the name of Skate 4. That was enough to ignite comments and speculation about a new game in the series.
As you can read in the tweets below at the end of this news, Lingen has published on Twitter the hashtag of Skate 4 (#Skate 4). Since we did not have any official statement on the (alleged) project, the message of the Community Manager does not necessarily imply the existence of Skate 4, but it is very likely that Electronic Arts is testing the waters for the construction of a new chapter in the sporty series.
Remember that the last game of the series was Skate 3 and was released in 2010 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and since then there was not any movement or announcement of a new game. In addition, the studio responsible for the game, EA Black Box, was closed in 2013 as part of a restructuring in the company.
Would you like to see the official announcement of Skate 4? All that now remains is to await for further details from the publisher.
