During the conference of Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom, the general director of Electronic Arts, Blake Jorgensen, gave some details about Star Wars: Battlefront II and talked about the new IP of BioWare.

According to Jorgensen, Star Wars: Battlefront II will be a “dramatically larger” game compared to the original that debuted in 2015. Also the second part will feature “a lot of new characters” that we have already seen in the films of the franchise.

Remember that previously, EA revealed that the sequel to Star Wars: Battlefront will take advantage of the universe of the franchise, so we will see familiar faces. On the other hand, the game will have individual campaign by Motive Studios.

In this event, Jorgensen also commented that the mysterious and new IP of BioWare will be related to science fiction and will be accompanied by the narrative elements that have been characterized by the studio.

“When you think about this game, you should be thinking about the great RPG character development and storyline progression that BioWare is known for,” he said. “but in a world of greater action and greater adventure, which is growing to be one of the larger categories in games.”

Without a doubt, Star Wars: Battlefront II is generating interest with its individual section, while BioWare has spent a lot of time talking about its new IP. We suspect that we will know more about these games in E3 2017, but for now we will have to wait until the time is right.

Remember that the next BioWare project will be Mass Effect: Andromeda, a title that will debut later this month.
