EA expects Mass Effect Andromeda to sell 3 million copies at launch
Andrew Wilson of Electronic Arts has revealed that the company expects high sales for Mass Effect Andromeda: the initial goal is to place at least three million copies in its launch week.
Electronic Arts has announced, during its meeting with investors, to have in mind big plans for its Mass Effect Andromeda: The game, expected on the market by March 21 this year, is called upon to sell 3 million copies during its first week of launch, according to the expectations of the company.
The game will debut shortly before the end of the last quarter of fiscal 2017, with EA who believes that the numbers that will register within the fourth tax will amount to a figure between 30% and 50% of its total sales of the life cycle.
The publisher did not disclose details about sales expectations in the entire life cycle of the game, but Electronic Arts is still expecting higher sales than those of Mass Effect 3, still only at six million units worldwide.
Mass Effect Andromeda will be released in Europe on March 23 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
