EA Access for PS4 Release Date Confirmed

0 304

Recently, Electronic Arts announced that its subscription service giving access to a catalog of internally produced games will soon be available on PlayStation 4. However, the release date was not precisely indicated: now, it has been unveiled. EA Access on PS4 will be available starting July 24th, in less than a month.

EA Access on PS4 will cost $30 a year, but it is also possible to subscribe to each month for 5 dollars. The subscription gives access to many games like Titanfall 2, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 and FIFA 18. Anyone registered also gets a 10% discount on all Electronic Arts digital games, as well as on expansions and all purchases in the game. Members can also take advantage of Early Access to EA games: normally, members can play about ten hours before the official release compared to other buyers.

This is an important innovation as in 2014 Sony had blocked the service because it had been “evaluated the EA Access subscription offering and decided that it does not bring the kind of value PlayStation customers have come to expect.” The service, therefore, became Xbox exclusive, in the console environment.

From July 24th, therefore, it will be possible to access the service on PS4. Still talking about subscriptions, the new PS Plus games of the month of July have recently been revealed: you can find out what they are at this link.
