The Square Enix conference at E3 2019 had a lot of Final Fantasy … and many went crazy. If the exciting Final Fantasy VII Remake gameplay was not enough, the company is also developing Final Fantasy VIII Remastered.
Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is official: at E3 2019, Square Enix, with the publication of a trailer, announced the arrival of the remastered version of the eighth chapter of Final Fantasy by the end of the year, released in 1999 on the first PlayStation.
The game was created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its original publication and to allow fans of the saga and new players to “relive” the enthralling story with an updated graphics section in line with current productions.
In the Square Enix event, we saw a trailer in which we saw some cinematic and gameplay of the game. With this release, we can enjoy the magnificent story and the attractive way of fighting that characterizes the original, but it will be seen as something worthy of the current generation of consoles. We leave you with the video below for you to judge:
Since Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is not created from scratch as VIII Remake, it is a bit easier to develop it, so it will release in 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
