Shawn Layden, the president of Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios, confirmed part of the company’s plans for E3 2018 through the latest PlayStation Blogcast.

So, now we know that the Sony conference will be held on Monday, June 11. The event will start at 6 pm PDT, 9 pm EDT, 2 am BST (June 12). You can follow the presentation through various media, such as Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook.

According to Layden, his conference this year will give us an in-depth look at 4 major titles: Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us: Part II and Marvel’s Spider-Man.

The director said that most of the presentation will focus on these games. Despite this, they also have some surprises, related to some other companies and independent studios.

“We’ll have some announcements with our third-party publishing partners, we’ll have some new things to talk about there, as well as you know, our continued support for independent development—we’ll throw some highlight of that,” said Layden.

The manager promised quality content that will thrill his audience. He said that the progress of the games will be really deep and offer a new angle of the games that are on the way to PlayStation 4.

Regarding the development of the event, Layden commented: “We want to make sure that it’s fresh and that it reflects the kind of stories we’re telling and the new entertainment we have to give to our fans—not just at the event, but worldwide through the live stream.”

The current state of development of Death Stranding will be discussed and the first details about Ghost of Tsushima, the new Sucker Punch project will be given. As for Marvel’s Spider-Man, a look at its mechanics and other content is expected. Finally, we will talk about the future of The Last of Us: Part II and possibly see a new trailer.
