After waiting for many, many years, The Last Guardian made a new appearance in the E3 2016 conference of Sony. The title of Fumedo Ueda and Team ICO finally enjoys a launch date for the PlayStation 4 console.

Indeed, the new video released by the Japanese publisher reveals a launch date for the game scheduled on October 26, 2016. It is a relief for those who were not hoping to see the successor of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus.

The game has been in development and has been postponed several times since 2007, making the game to receive an almost mythical status. After that, The Last Guardian debuted the title officially for the first time at E3 2009 as a PS3 exclusive. However, the Sony president Shuhei Yoshida, announced the platform change to PS4 in 2012. And now, nine years later, we can finally enjoy the adventures of the boy and Trico.

The video extract below shows some phases of extra gameplay, always focusing the interest on the relationship between the boy and Trico, the creature that will accompany the ruins.
