Dynasty Warriors 9 will run at 30/60 FPS modes on PS4 Pro & Xbox One X, No Switch version planned

Koei Tecmo’s NiOh was one of the first titles to present players with the ability to choose from several graphical settings on the current generation of console, users could opt for higher resolution or prefer frame rate. Well, according to reports, the same will happen with Dynasty Warriors 9.


Thus, Koei Tecmo confirmed that the graphics options used in NiOh will return to Dynasty Warriors 9, allowing users of PS4 Pro and Xbox One X to have more graphical adjustments to adapt performance or resolution. In May, this news had been already confirmed for the console of Sony.

In fact, the producer Akihiro Suzuki has talked about the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X versions, which will feature different display modes, the first at 30fps which will give priority to the graphics detail, while the second to 60fps which will focus on fluidity of the game.

The producer, Akihiro Suzuki also talked about the possible switch version of the title, confirming that there are no plans to bring Dynasty Warriors 9 onto the Nintendo hybrid.

According to official data, the players in the latest offshoot of the long-lived series may engage in battles, sub-missions, and conflicts that are presented on a larger scale. The fights will also include various mission types, including scout missions, guerrilla actions, or sabotage missions.

Dynasty Warriors 9 will be released in early 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
