Media Molecule recently announced that Dreams, its ambitious game for PlayStation 4, will debut as an Early Access project. If you are excited about the arrival of this title, you should know that it finally has a confirmed release date.
Through the PlayStation blog, Media Molecule confirmed that Dreams will be available from April 16. The title will have in its launch the necessary tools for the players to demonstrate their creativity; however, it will not have all the content planned for the full premiere.
In addition to the various tools for creating games, Dreams will include several interactive tutorials, a selection of arcade levels and content created by Media Molecule. By being part of the Early Access stage, you will have the right to try new features as they are added.
According to the details, the game will be offered for a price of $29.99 USD. It will be available in the United States, Canada and in most European countries. The publication of the blog does not mention any other countries in America. The title will have support in English and French.
Accessing this initial version of the game will also entitle you to get the full release as soon as it becomes available. Media Molecule stressed that for now they do not have an estimated date for the release of version 1.0. Below you can see its new trailer:
All creations made in the Early Access can be preserved and transferred to the full version of the game. The studio warned that virtual reality features will come later, so they will soon share more details about it.
Media Molecule recommended that interested parties can acquire the game as soon as possible, since the Early Access stage will have limited space. The developers clarified that there are enough places available, but that they still decided to set a limit.
Dreams will release on PlayStation 4 in Early Access next April 16.
