Square-Enix Japan has announced that the Japanese release date of Dragon Quest XI will be announced on April 11 during a show that will be streamed live on YouTube at 14:00 JST (Japanese time).
As expected, Square Enix has revealed the announcement of the Japanese release date of Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time during an event organized for 11 April. The news has been confirmed by Famitsu, that for now only mentions the versions of Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation 4, not to the one of Switch – that still has not been shown.
The transmission can be followed at this address, the developers are aware that during the live broadcast there will be also revealed new details about the gameplay, the publisher has specified that the livestream will focus solely on versions for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS while there will be no details of any type on for Switch version.
The broadcast will be attended by the series creator, Yuji Horii, actress Tsubasa Honda and other guests not yet confirmed. During the streaming there will be also shared more information about the game.
Among other details that have been revealed for the game, it will offer players the possibility of camping in the middle of nowhere and start conversations with other members of the group, as well as the inclusion of a night and day cycle.
Dragon Quest XI will arrive simultaneously on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS while the launch of Switch is planned at a later time.
