In an interview published in the magazine of Nintendo Dream, different Japanese personalities spoke on Dragon Quest. In the discussion participated the creator of the franchise, Dragon Quest, Yuji Horii; the producer of Pokémon, Junichi Masuda and director of Super Smash Bros., Masahiro Sakurai.
Dragon Quest XI will also arrive on Nintendo NX. The confirmation comes from an interview granted by Yuji Horii, creator of the series, in the October issue of the Japanese magazine of Nintendo Dream.
Thanks to this publication Yuji Horii confirmed that there will be a version of Dragon Quest XI for Nintendo NX, the next console from the Japanese company. He has suggested that this title will arrive simultaneously to PlayStation 4, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo NX.
Although there are great chances of this happening, Square Enix wanted to be more prudent and in a statement saying that “it is considering that Dragon Quest XI arrives on NX”.
To make matters worse, the creator of the franchise, also said that the release of the 3 versions of the game would have to be simultaneous, or else the spoilers will ruin the surprises among players of different systems.
Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time is scheduled to arrive in Japan on May 27, 2017. According to projections, NX should be available in the market a couple of months earlier, in March.
