Square-Enix Japan has released a demo of Dragon Quest X on the Japanese PlayStation Store. The demo allows you to play the full story of Version 1, with the ability to import the progress achieved in the full version.
An introductory demo that accompanies players to discover the world of Dragon Quest X is now available for the MMORPG title set in the Dragon Quest universe. If you own a Japanese account you can download the trial version by clicking here.
Dragon Quest X is available in Japan on PC, Wii U, Switch and PlayStation 4, there is no confirmation given at this time about the game’s arrival in the West.
Recently, it was reported that Square Enix is currently looking for a technical artist for the Dragon Quest series. The applicant must work with Unreal Engine 4.
The PS4 version of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age was the first game in the series in which Unreal Engine 4 was used, so it is quite logical that this can be used for subsequent chapters as well.
Among other things, it is assumed that Dragon Quest III with the Unreal Engine 4 could be reissued. Or is it just about the so far not published Switch implementation of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age?
