Dragon Quest 10 will arrive on Nintendo NX

Although nothing is officially known yet about NX, the next console of Nintendo, more and more games are being announced for this platform. This will be the fourth game in advertising for the new platform.
The latest issue of the Weekly Famitsu contained an interview with Yosuke Saito, producer of Dragon Quest X, and its director, Chikara Saito, giving news on the state of development of the game. First, a NX version of Dragon Quest X has been confirmed as being currently in development, along with the PS4 version of the game.
About a year ago, Square Enix announced that the port of Dragon Quest X and XI on NX was possible. Note, however, that the interview was about Dragon Quest X and there is no confirmation about Dragon Quest XI.
When asked when the title would come out on the PS4, Yosuke Saito said it would arrive (in Japan) in due time, well before Dragon Quest XI.
After confirming that Dragon Quest X will also come to this platform, it is now the fourth game for the console after The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Just Dance 2017 and the next adventure of Sonic.
Dragon Quest X is, unlike the other installments of the saga, a massively multiplayer online role playing game that is already available on Wii, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PC and Android. It will be also coming soon to PlayStation 4.
Unfortunately, although the game has been offering its services for four years, it has never gotten out of Japan. It is currently in its version 3.3, although it is expected that when it comes to NX, the game will be in version 4.0.
