As it is customary, Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, the programming director of Xbox One, was responsible for sharing this news through his Twitter account. In it, he announced that as of today Dragon Age II is part of the catalog of backward compatibility titles, so those who have it in their collection can already enjoy it on the current generation console.

If you want to play Dragon Age II on your Xbox One it is necessary that you insert the disk into your console and download it. Keep in mind that the game will have to be inside the console every time you want to play. On the other hand, if you have it in digital format you simply need to download it from your collection of digital titles.

In recent news, Xbox One’s backward compatibility already exceeded 1000 million hours of playing Xbox 360 and Xbox Original titles.
