Lord of the Hunt, the first DLC for Shadow of Mordor, additional content is revealed.
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor will soon enjoy its first DLC at a surcharge. Yes, there is nothing in this world that comes for free, unfortunately. Called “Lord of the Hunt”, this additional content has already arrived at the end of the 2014 year without more precision to 9.99 dollars. It will be integrated in the Season Pass as well, billed to 24.99 USD.
What have we got for that price? As the name suggests, this DLC will focus particularly on hunting the animals that inhabit the Mordor environment. Both Talion and Torvin will hunt the wildest beasts of Mordor and will also control them to hunt down Sauron’s enemies. You will hunt new monsters, reveal hidden lairs, control monster like creatures to turn them against your enemies.
In addition, two new creatures will emerge and it will be possible to ride them as well: the Caragath, a kind of Caragor smaller and discreet, and miserable Graug, a variation of Graug able to spit poison. Five new runes will be on hand, as well as new hunting challenges and items to collect. Finally, retaliation can also be used to take control of Ghuls.
Just note that you will require the base game Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor on Steam in order to play. Download Lord of the Hunt DLC from this link.
